Women's workshops are sisterhood circles. It is tremendous the shifts that can occur when women are there to support eachother.
As women we grow up in a society in which we are not enabled to be fully liberated. Media conditions us to think our bodies are never good enough and education doesn't push us fully embody and own our feminine sensuality.
These workshops are an invitation to give to our bodies the love that they deserve through body-positivity. This is done through body-painting. We employ body-painting as an act of self-love. When we paint on our bodies it is an offering we to our bodies and we paint with them it is an honouring because see the beautiful art our body is able to do.
It is also an invitation to fully unleash our Shakti power, which in other words is our inner Goddess, our untamed wild woman. We are saying goodbye to any slut-shaming we may have experienced and any other feelings of shame and guilt regarding our womanhood.
It is a space for us to be empowered and take back ownership of our bodies and souls, to be our free radical unconditional selves.
Workshops include exercises such as sharing circle, dance, mindful movement, meditation in order to warm up for this process by tuning with our mind, body and soul.
